Southern Sky Aviation Charters (Birmingham, AL) has opened a new USD30 million fixed base operation at Panama City Northwest Florida Beaches, giving aircraft operators a choice of service providers at the airport.
”It is a first-class facility and we are extremely proud of it," said SSA President Donald Howell.
The new facility includes 68,000 square feet (6,320 sqm) of hangar space and an 11,000 square foot (1,020 sqm) terminal with crew and passenger facilities.
The US FAA Part 135 Charter Operator and Part 145 Repair Station offers aircraft charter, management, maintenance, and sales services to customers, in addition to fixed-base operator (FBO) services at Pascagoula's Trent Lott Airport and Panama City. Its available aircraft include a Cessna Aircraft Company Citation V and two XLS types.
